Planning/story boarding

Scene 1

In this scene my actor will be walking across the wood, listening to her ipod. The sound will then be that of when there is a close up of her walking the diegetic music (on her ipod) being played in the background so the audience can here it. The lighting at this point will be that of mainly natural lighting through the trees and her clothes will be modern and up to date.

Scene 2

In this scene my other actor will be sitting at a desk in an office with a cup of tea/coffee and will be looking at the computer as if doing work. There will be various pictures of family etc and trinkets around the office to help create the office atmostphere. She will be wearing dark office clothes so that you can see she has a high status proffession. There is diegetic sound when the phone rings. The lighting used will be that of possibly an over head light and a desk lamp to create an artificial office like enviroment. In the office there will be a desk, phone, computer, picture frame, and a sign to say she is a detective.

Scene 3

In this scene when you see a mid shot of the girl walking you were hear the first few bars of the non diegetic music fade in slowly and quietly. Then as you see the close up of the girl you hear the diegetic music she is listening to (as if it was through her ear) as she takes out her headphone the music then stops and she looks around. As she looks around she sees a mysterious cloaked figure in the corner of her eye, and then from the opposite side she hears a twig snap. The lighting here is natural light. Her costume is normal day to day clothes, the other costume used in this scene is a cloak.

Scene 4

In this scene the woman is still sat at her desk and on the phone. During a more mundain part of the conversation the woman stands up and organises the files on her desk. When she says the line "what symbols?" She sits down looking shocked (med close up)

Scene 5

Now you see tracking as the girl is running through the wood. The shot will be taken place from behind a bush as if she is being watched. The non diegetic sound then gets played (in the form of music) to build tension. The lighting and clothing on the young girl remains the same. You then see a shot of the mysterious cloaked figure and how he is following her. This again is done in terms of tracking. As the camera changes angle and pans out into a low angled long shot you see that there is more then one cloaked figure (all wearing the same clothes) and that they are all following her. In the next shot you see the floor has been marked with a pentagram and that when she falls over she crawls into the middle of it accidentally. The music is starting to reach its climax and there is lots of violin music in the background. The camera is then used hand held, and from the perspective of one of the mosters as it runs towards the girl. As it runs towards her, and the music reaches its climax, the camera shuts off.

Scene 6

The woman in the office looks pale and white. There is an increase of lighting on her face to highlight this. There is silence apart from the womans breathing. (diegetic) the woman then ends the scene with "Please dont tell me he's back" looking panicked. The tranistion between scene 5 and 6 should be snappy.
